David
R.
Petersen,
CFP: David
founded Financial Services Advisory, Inc. in 1982 and has been managing
client assets for over twenty-five years. His company's service is
founded upon the belief that successful investing requires an active,
disciplined management strategy. He has developed a program that
emphasizes taking advantage of advancing markets, adapting to changing
markets, and protecting capital in declining markets by applying a sell
discipline of stop-losses to preserve wealth. In short, as David
has often said, "Preserving money is just as important as making
it."
David
has gained a considerable amount of media attention over the years from
publications such as Barrons, Business Week, The Washington Post,
Personal Financial Planning, and others for the company's active
management strategy: knowing when and what to buy and when and
what to sell. He has been included in The Washingtonian's list of
Top Investment Advisers since 2002. FSA's stop-loss system has
protected clients' assets and through reducing market positions at the
onsets of bear markets in 1987, 1990, 2000, 2001, and 2002.
David
earned his undergraduate degree in Finance, with emphasis in
Investments, Taxation, and Financial Planning, from

Young
University
