David M. Citron, CFA
Prior to joining Carret and Company in July of
2000, Mr. Citron was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Wagner
Citron Management Corp. At WCM, Mr. Citron managed his clients’ total
financial needs including investment management, estate, tax and
insurance planning for almost ten years. Under his tenure, the firm grew
from 54 million dollars in client assets to over 300 million. Mr. Citron
was named in Baltimore Magazine’s “Top Money Managers.” He is
regularly quoted in local publications. Mr. Citron was nominated to the
Charles Schwab Advisory board in both 1993 and 1994. Mr. Citron’s
first experience in portfolio management began with Oxford Capital
Management in Baltimore, Maryland. Mr. Citron’s professional origins
began in New York, where he was a trader of futures and options for both
Salomon Brothers and Drexel Burnham Lambert Trading Corporation. He is a
graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Finance and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
